Telemedicine in Murang’a

Murang’a county celebrated one year of telemedicine services by organizing a free medical camp at Kibio primary school in Murang’a. Murang’a governor Irungu Kang’ata said in the past one year the long queues have reduced at 35 health facilities that have been connected with the internet. According to the governor, patients with chronic illnesses have been connected to the doctors online to ensure they do not travel long distances to seek health services
