Uganda's incumbent President Yoweri Museveni declared winner of Thursday’s election

Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni has won his 7th term in office having garnered 71% of total votes cast, against his main challenger Robert Kyagulanyi, better known as Bobi Wine who got 24%.Bobi wine in a recording released on his social media however rejected the results instead calling on the Uganda Electoral Commission to upload the results online for transparency. He has condemned what he described as an unfair electoral process, marred by an internet shutdown, military deployments and the alleged abductions of his polling agents.
