Kwa Jomvu Bridge opens to ease traffic congestion to Mombasa port

The long-delayed Kwa Jomvu Bridge in Mombasa has been opened to traffic, offering relief to commuters and transporters along one of Kenya’s busiest transport corridors. The bridge is expected to significantly ease congestion that has for years disrupted the movement of cargo from the Port of Mombasa to inland destinations.
