Outrage as Othaya church attack draws condemnation from leaders, police yet to act

We begin the bulletin with Sunday's attack on a church in Othaya...where the Church, Human rights group, and political class condemned the brutal teargassing of worshipers at St Peters' ACK church in Othaya, Nyeri. The groups are now demanding the interdiction and prosecution of the police officers involved. The Anglican Church, through its Mt Kenya West Diocese, has solely placed the blame on the national police service for allegedly participating in and aiding the desecration of the place of worship, which now bears the scars of yesterday’s assault.
