Ruto backs coalition talks with ODM, aims for big 2027 win

President William Ruto led the United Democratic Alliance National Governing Council in formally endorsing its planned coalition talks with the Orange Democratic Movement. The UDA Party leader told the UDA national governing council that the ODM-UDA coalition will enable the Broad-based formation to win the 2027 presidential polls by a 2 to 3 million margin against the closest opponents in the 2027 general election. The Meeting also resolved to conduct repeat polls in 80 per cent of the polling centres
