Two killed in Garissa ambush, manhunt for attackers underway

Tension remains high in Hulugho sub-county, Garissa County, following a suspected terror attack that claimed the lives of a local chief and a primary school teacher. The victims have been identified as Hulugho Chief Abdifatah Gani and Hulugho primary school teacher Stephen Musili, who were killed in the overnight assault. Following the attack, non-local teachers in the area are now appealing to the teachers’ service commission (tsc) to urgently intervene and facilitate their transfer to safer regions. Three prison wardens were accused of facilitating the escape of terror suspects from Kamiti Maximum Prison.
