Education CS, PS under fire as MPs question grade 10 transition

The leadership of the Ministry of Education today found itself on the receiving end of the wrath of mps over the implementation of some it’s key policies, including the transition to grade ten. Cs Julius Ogamba found himself hard pressed to defend himself and his principal secretaries, who were termed clueless, as mps questioned him on the transition rates, school capitation and uniform policies, amongst others. This came as the ministry said it had achieved 96% transition of learners from grade nine to grade ten.
