The United Opposition are demanding an end to what they term as sustained attacks and harassment against former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua and his political allies. Speaking after a meeting with the police chief at Vigilance House, opposition leaders led by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Martha Karua accused the National Police Service of failing to ensure safety of opposition leaders in the country and by extension failure to uphold freedoms guaranteed by the constitution. As John Kahiro now reports, the faction has warned of mass action if no action is taken to address the issue.
