Police arrest five suspects in Mombasa and Kilifi armed robberies, warn against criminal attacks

Police have arrested five suspects linked to a spate of armed robberies in Mombasa and Kilifi counties. Three are linked to a “panga” wielding gang that attacked a businessman in mtwapa Kilifi county with two others alleged to have injured a security guard at biashara street mombasa county. Coast region police commander ali nuno says they recovered stolen mobile phones, machetes, crude weapons and identity cards from one of the key suspects who has been on the run for a while.
