FGM survivors in Maasai land fight back with support groups and economic empowerment

Survivors of female genital mutilation in Maasai land are now fighting back against the fear, shame and silence that comes with the cut. The survivors have turned to support groups that are not only counselling them, but also teaching them financial and economic literacy to enable them pick up the pieces of their lives that were once shattered when they underwent the cut
