Senators maintain sanctions for Governors who snub summons

The war of words between Governors and Senators deepened Tuesday as senators continued their onslaught on Governors accusing the county heads of imploring tactics to avoid accountability. Senate County Public Accounts Committee Chair Moses Kajwang and the County Public Investment Committee Chair Godfrey Osotsi in an interview with KBC warned the Governors who opt to snub senate summons they will be surcharged, fined and funding halted.
