Ruto bemoans uneven distribution of climate finance

President William Ruto has highlighted the uneven distribution of climate finance, which has continued to place the African continent at a disadvantage. President Ruto further wants African states to rework their green industrialisation strategy, terming it the only pathway to strengthen African economies and create sustainable jobs for the youth. Speaking during the 39th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, President Ruto also presented a report outlining the reforms needed to strengthen the African Union's response to peace and security.
