The Federation of Kenya Employers, FKE is urging the government to relook at the proposed hike in statutory payments for the national social security fund and the national hospital insurance fund stating that its will be unsustainable for Kenyans in formal employment . FKE chairman Habil Olaka acknowledged the challenges facing the social fund but says there needs to be a balance when it comes to funding them. FKE executive director Jacqueline Mugo said with the case now out of court, the government now has a chance to take a look at it again and make the necessary changes to ensure that it benefits all Kenyans without burdening a section of the population
