Ibrahim Ndungu from Bamburi Rifle Club won a bronze medal in the masters category SSP division in the ongoing international defensive pistol association championship at the 333 shooting range in Bangkok, Thailand. Kenya had only two competitors in the event. Over 160 shooters participated in the event which had stiff competition in the SSP division. The Kenyan had just participated in the IPSC world shoot in Pattaya Thailand before heading to the Bangkok event. The competition had marksmen from Japan, China, Philllipines and the Thailand military and civilian shooters
