Police recover 40 stolen sheep in a makeshift slaughter house in Nairobi

Police in Kayole are investigating a disturbing case in which more than 50 pedigree sheep of the Doper breed were slaughtered in Kanguruwe area, while 40 others were rescued alive and taken to the Kayole Police Station. Authorities have arrested five suspects, including butchery owners allegedly linked to the illegal trade, as concerns mount over rising insecurity and rise in unregulated slaughterhouses in the slums.
