Mbadi targets KSh200B savings in govt with e-procurement push

National Treasury Cabinet Secretary, John Mbadi, has outlined key reforms aimed at reducing waste in government. Speaking during the launch of the budget preparation for the financial year 2026/2027, CS Mbadi put on notice accounting officers in ministries, departments, and agencies who are yet to onboard the e-procurement, warning of consequences for those who will not comply. Mbadi says there will be no turning back on the matter.
