14 people died while 13 others sustained injuries, following a self-involving accident in Lodwar on Saturday night. According to police, the 10pm accident occurred after a driver of a lorry that was ferrying goods and passengers to Turkana North, lost control and landed into a ditch. According to survivors, the driver was swerving to avoid hitting an oncoming vehicle and a camel that was crossing the road.
