The bankers were in the mood from kick off, running in three tries in the opening half, all converted by fullback Darwin Mukidza. the monks replied with three penalties to trail 28-9 at the break. The second half was a long one for the monks as KCB tightened the screws to cross the whitewash five more times. With the bonus point secured, the bankers relaxed and as a result conceded a try scored by Victor Omupere for the monks. Earlier at the same venue, KCB B team whitewashed CUEA B 75-3 in the curtain raiser match.
