For years, residents of Saimosoi in Baringo North, Baringo County, bore the brunt of relentless banditry, displacement of families and their livelihoods stolen from them. Yet, amid the scars of violence, 39 students who are set to join the university, chose to cover their painful and silent memories and tell their story of resilience while choosing to rebuild their lives through education.
