COG calls on the Senate to take action on the National Treasury

The Council Of Governors is now calling on the Senate and the National Assembly to take action on the National Treasury in what it refers to as blatant disregard of a constitutional financial allocation of the county equalization fund. The Treasury on its end says it is awaiting authorization from the house to dispatch the funds. The committee on revenue allocation has on its end fronted a number of recommendations on the amendment of the equalization fund, and appropriation bill currently in parliament before the house takes a vote on it.
