Eight people have been admitted to the Gatundu Level Five Hospital in Kiambu County following a suspected cholera outbreak in Juja. Health officials say the residents of one four village in Juja got infected after consuming contaminated water. The water was allegedly contaminated by leakages from an ongoing project to expand sewer lines in the area. Lucy Mumbi, a public health officer in Juja Sub-county said most of the patients complained stomach upsets.
