The simulation of electronic presidential results transmission conducted by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission was marred by remarkable delays. The transmission of results involved a pilot of 2,900 polling centres across the country but IEBC managed about 1,368 in 3 hours forcing an adjournment of the exercise. Agents of all the four presidential candidates raised their concerns over the delay demanding IEBC to ensure the process is seamless come August. IEBC has however assured that its servers will be secure from hackers.
