Former US president Donald Trump is set to appear in a federal courthouse in Miami to answer to federal charges. Trump who is the first US former president to face federal charges in the American history was last week indicted of mishandling classified documents. Special counsel Jack Smith charged Trump in a 37-count indictment, alleging that the 45th US president mishandled classified documents brought to his Mar-a-Lago resort. The 76 year old business magnate was indicted in March by the Manhattan district attorney’s office on charges related to hush money payments.
