International Justice Mission releases 2022 and 2024 police abuse of power report

42.9% of kenyans surveyed between 2022 and 2024 experienced police abuse according to a report by the international justice mission (ijm). The report which was officially launched at a ceremony attended by ipoa, national police service and law society of kenya among other stakeholders in the criminal justice system places corruption, harassment and wrongful detention as the leading forms of abuse.
