Prof. Micere Githae Mugo memorial held in Nairobi

The literary community in Nairobi on Wednesday evening came together to celebrate the life and times of Kenyan playright, author and poet Prof. Micere Githae Mugo who died on the 30th of June. The event converged various creative and artistic talents, as they hailed the late professor as a key pioneer, who contributed a great deal to opening up Kenya's literary scene, as a professor and dean in the faculty of Arts at the University of Nairobi
