    Open University of Kenya has lowered its fees to half and a third of what other public universities charge. Making his first interview at k24tv as acting vice-chancellor of the open university, Prof. Elijah Omwenga revealed that the institution will communicate the opening date by the end of September after completing the admission of students from KUCCPS. The institution’s students will incur degree fees of up to 105,000 to 115,000 depending on the course while postgraduate students will incur a fee of 110,000 ksh. .The fees might increase at the end of 4 years after reviewing the performance and learning of the first cohort.
