Babu Owino maintained that as a member of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party and ally of Raila, his duty was to assist him in carrying out his mandate as their leader.
“If somebody has a wife, you don’t discuss how you will inherit the wife when the person is still alive,” he added, chuckling.
The Embakasi East MP finally revealed that he was interested in stepping up and succeeding Raila but at the right time.
“Our time will come and when that time comes I can assure you what you have said is going to be true,” he said, in response to whether he will succeed Raila. __
