West Pokot residents decry poor roads and lack of proper road networks in the county

Sixty years after independence and eleven years of devolution, a section of areas of West Pokot County still lacks passable roads. Travelling in the County has been a nightmare for residents due to the steep hillsides that form the area's landscape. Some areas are still inaccessible making it hard for transportation of people, goods and services leading to high cost of transportation.
