Varsity workers to start nationwide strike Wednesday

University workers will start a nationwide strike on Wednesday to demand 2.73 billion shillings owed by the government in salary arrears and allowances dating back to 2021. The University workers are also demanding the full implementation of the 2021-2025 collective bargaining agreement.
