Police were forced to disperse alleged pro-Kenya Kwanza alliance and Embakasi East MP Babu Owino supporters from Jacaranda grounds in Embakasi, Nairobi, following a dispute over which side would hold a rally at the venue. This is after the factions clashed leaving scores injured among them Embakasi East UDA aspirant Francis Mureithi. Calm was however restored with the Kenya Kwanza brigade eventually allowed to hold their rally at the venue.
