Hundreds of learners have been forced to stay at home owing to the heightened tension in Katikomor village, West Pokot along the Kenya- Uganda border. The conflict was triggered by suspected cattle rustlers from West Pokot who killed a Councillor from Bukwo district in Uganda and stole several animals.
