Olympic and World bronze medalist Faith Cherotich is now a world champion in the 3000m steeplechase, having won the title at the ongoing World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan. Cherotich adds the gold medal to the bronze she won in Budapest in 2023 and the Diamond League trophy she won in the concluded season.
