Githurai 44 MCA resigns over frustrations with county Govt

Githurai 44 member of the county assembly (MCA), Mwangi Waithira, has tendered his resignation, citing the county government’s failure to deliver on key development projects and a deteriorating working relationship with Nairobi’s leadership. Waithira pointed to unfulfilled pledges made by county leadership, including the construction of a sports ground and the upgrading of a local hospital in Githurai 44, as part of the frustrations that led to his decision.
