The government is firming up its shift to an electronic government procurement system, with the State Department for Public Investments and Assets Management saying all tenders must now be processed digitally. Principal Secretary Cyrell Wagunda said the shift is meant to enhance transparency, cut costs and curb corruption. This, even as counties and state agencies continue to be trained on the new platform.
