Environment stakeholders are pushing for the review of the existing Pest Control Products Act to incorporate missing thematic areas on bio-pesticides. The group says that the existing gaps that include registration hurdles, farmer awareness, its use and lack of regulatory framework are hindering its uptake among the farmers.
