Tonight on Citizen Planet we take you to Lamu County, where a community in Pate Island is changing its fortunes and combating climate change effects. Pate Resources and Tourism Initiative (PRATI) Community group has come up with locally engineered climate resilient projects, from Mangrove forest restoration to ecotourism, and beekeeping to name a few. Our Environment Conservation and Climate Change reporter Agnes Oloo visited the group and tells us how they managed to scale their projects enough to grab the attention of some major climate funders.
