Ithookwe Stadium, which is set to host this year`s Mashujaa Day celebrations in Kitui County, is at ninety per cent completion.
Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya, who was on a tour of the facility to assess preparedness of the grounds ahead of the national fete, expressed confidence that the works will be completed and the facility officially handed over to the Mashujaa Day celebration preparation committee on the 6th of October. Further, he noted Ithookwe airstrip is at 92% completion.
