The County Government of Mombasa has launched a Tourism Council aimed at promoting the Coastal County as a tourist destination for both domestic and international markets. The council that has converged key tourism stakeholders in Mombasa, will be tasked to develop products that are in touch with current market trends. Industry players say they are yet to recover from the effects of Covid-19, and that the council would help improve the fortunes of tourism in the coastal county.
