Machakos man survives by luck after his house collapsed

Bodies of two male adults who died yesterday after being swept away by flash floods in Kitengela Kajiado county have been retrieved. The bodies were retrieved in two different areas of Noonkopir and in a ditch within town. This comes even as tens of families in Kitengela braved the night in the cold after their houses were submerged after a seasonal river burst its banks. In Matungulu, Machakos county, a grandmother and a grandson died after a toilet fell on them, even as a middle-aged man survived by sheer luck after his house collapsed owing to the ongoing heavy rains
