Ruto: Kenyans will have to persevere a little bit longer

Kenyans will have to continue persevering through the harsh economic challenges a little bit longer before substantive change is seen. This follows President William Ruto’s affirmation during today’s labour day celebrations that the country will no longer be dependent on loans and grants but on kenyans taxes. This, as the President announced that the government is proposing a 6 percent minimum wage hike that will only be realized after the economy has stabilized.
