As authorities race against time to assist Kenyans affected by flooding, in Garsen, Tana River county, families displaced by floods who have been living in camps since November 2023 are on the edge yet again. The more than 300 families who had abandoned their homes and moved to what they considered safe grounds are on the brink of a disaster as water from tana river snakes its way into nearby villages.
