Kenya Met warns of heavy rains, strong winds, and possible floods

The Kenya Meteorological Department (KMD) has issued a weather alert warning of continued rainfall and strong winds in several parts of the country from Sunday night, October 5, to Monday evening, October 6, 2025. Residents in low-lying and flood-prone areas have been urged to remain cautious, as heavy rains could trigger localised flooding.
