Learners have been challenged to embrace foreign languages in order to widen their communication skills and earn themselves a competitive advantage in the job market. Speaking during the 4th National Chinese Bridge Competition for Primary Schools at Brook House Schools, Egerton University Vice-Chancellor Professor Bernard Aduda said the ability to speak at least one foreign language opens up opportunities in the job market within and outside the country.
