Residents of Juhudi, Salama, and Widho areas in Lamu County are appealing for urgent government intervention following continued destruction of their crops by elephants.
The residents, say the wild animals have invaded their farms, leaving them with huge losses as acres of crops are destroyed. They are now calling on the Kenya Wildlife Service and other relevant authorities to step in and address the human-wildlife conflict, as well as compensate them for the damage caused by the elephants
