Residents from Kapcherop area, in Marakwet Constituency, Elgeyo Marakwet County are yet to come to terms with the death of two Kenya Forest Service rangers. It is alleged that the duo were shot and killed by a police officer while at work over an alleged love triangle. The officer is alleged to have also died by his own hand after he shot himself following the melee.
