Women leaders in Kericho County have renewed their push for greater representation of women in elective and appointive positions. The women, largely drawn from the county assembly say they will build on the existing goodwill to elevate women to the highest offices on the land through legislation and active engagement with Kenyans. Kericho County Assembly women caucus chairperson Irene Langat says a bill has been tabled in the county assembly to champion the cause.
