The government is calling for accelerated action and strengthening of protection mechanisms to ensure the most vulnerable members of the society are safe and free from trafficking. The calls were made during the celebration of the world day against trafficking in persons at the AIC Namanga primary school in Kajiado County. Principle Secretary in the State Department of Social Protection and Senior Citizen Affairs Joseph Motari reaffirmed the government`s commitment to fight the vice with the continuous implementation of the Counter Trafficking in Persons Act of 2010 among other social protection programs.
