Tuya vows transparency in KDF recruitment

Defence Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya has moved to assure Kenyans of transparency in the ongoing Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) recruitment exercise amid growing public concerns over allegations of corruption and fraud. Speaking on Monday, October 13, 2025, during the official launch of the KDF 2025 recruitment, Tuya acknowledged that the ministry had received reports in the past of dishonest practices and exploitation by individuals posing as recruiters.
