Women groups across Kenya supporting Waiguru for DP

A section of women from various parts of the country are fronting Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru as a suitable successor for embattled deputy president Rigathi Gachagua if the Senate upholds his impeachment this Thursday. The women, drawn from Kiambu, Kakamega and Taita Taveta counties, claim Waiguru’s track record in governance is proof of her readiness to lead at the national level.
