The three Judge bench of the High Court led by Justice Eric Ogola has cautioned appointing a new Deputy President prior to the conclusion of a case in which the DP is challenging his removal from office in the event he is impeached by the senate would be unconstitutional. The precaution comes amid concerns raised by the Petitioners of a plot to nominate a new DP by the end of the week should Rigathi Gachagua be impeached.
